Barch criteria for josaa councelling
Hello Dear Student,
To get admission into the B.Arch programme through JoSAA counselling at NITs, IIITs, and other GFTIs, you must satisfy both the entrance exam and academic eligibility requirements.
- You must appear for JEE Main Paper 2A (B.Arch) and obtain a valid rank.
- You should have passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) as compulsory subjects along with other required subjects.
- For General, OBC-NCL, and EWS candidates , a minimum of 75% aggregate marks in Class 12 or being in the top 20 percentile of your respective board is generally required.
- For SC, ST, and PwD candidates , the minimum requirement is 65% aggregate marks in Class 12 .
If you meet these eligibility conditions and secure a qualifying rank in JEE Main Paper 2A, you can participate in JoSAA counselling for B.Arch admissions at institutes such as NIT Trichy, NIT Calicut, SPA Delhi, and other participating colleges.
