BCA is a 3-year course which gives you insights about softwares, DBMS, and some programming language.
Most of the colleges follow these three criteria:
- 10+2 from recognised board
- minimum aggregate of 45-55% (vary as per college)
- English as a subject
Some colleges prefer science stream students over the other stream and few of them may pose mathematics as a mandatory subject. Many universities can take you through direct admission or through some entrance exam for eg IPU CET, SET
