See Mathematcis is taught in all engineering branches in the first year. This is common and based on class 12 syllabus generally so many students refer to standard books. As for ME branch and mathematics in the 2nd year, ask the college librarian, seniors, faculty members because books are not standardised in engineering like in school boards. The teacher will mention the books to refer and students should read those.
