BEd in Special Education is for a duration of two years, this course is particularly for differently-abled students, the eligibility criteria for this course is passed Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a recognized university with 50% or above depending upon the norms of the university. Admission process varies, for some it's based on the merit of the qualifying examination while in case of others entrance tests are conducted, followed by interview. Course fee in government institutes are comparatively lesser than that of private  ones, it can range from Rs 50000 to One Lakh. Some of the top colleges are Loreto College(Kolkata), Lady Irwin College/Lady Shri Ram College of Education(Delhi) to name a few.
