Being from Information technology background and giving the gate exam on Cs paper...can I take up embedded systems as an m.tech option after gate score evaluation ?

yes, you can take embedded system as an mtech subject.
see embedded is a inter disciplinary subject and can taken by ece, ee, applied electronics, or computer science related back ground.
