Start with NCERT and complete it by heart.
Then move in to HC Verma.Its is the most popular books for Physics and every aspirant prefer this books.But there is lack of questions in HC Verma so after completing HC Verma, you can move on to DC pandey and that will be it JEE mains.

Hello student to build basics of your physics refer NCERT firstly as it cover all the basics concept after completing your NCET (2times) refer to Concept of Physics volume 1And volume 2 by Hc Verma.
You can also prefer Arihant Physics for jee questions practice. After doing this all jump to you coaching materials or previous year question that'll help you.

Best book for Physics for JEE Mains preparation is no doubt Concepts of Physics Volume 1 and 2 by HC Verma.
Fundamentals of Physics by Halliday and Resnick is another book you can study for Physics preparation for JEE. This book is quite recommended by many teachers as well.
