Assuming that you are asking this question in reference of jee mains.

As you know that cse is the most preferable branch of each student and you need to secure a good rank for cse in a good college( top ranking NITs  ) but you have a fair chance to get cse in low ranking nits like NIT arunachal pradesh, NIT goa, NIT srinagar, NIT Puducherry etc.

You will  get cse in state government college like dcrust , ku, cu etc.
