Both courses are of 3 years and total of 6 semesters . The BSc Perfusion Technology involves the study of physiology, pathology and associated equipment used to support and/or assume the function of the heart and/or lungs during medical procedures.
Whearas Cardiac Technologists assist physicians during invasive cardiovascular testing; a tube is inserted into one of the blood vessels that carry blood into the heart.
BSc Perfusionists keep the surgical team informed about the patients condition throughout the surgery. Salary varies from 10-14 lakhs per annum
Cardiovascular technicians
- aid in the diagnosis and treatment of heart and blood vessel issues.
- review doctor and patient documentation.
- schedule appointments and monitor patients' heart rates.
- salary varies from 4-20 lakhs per annum
So both the jobs are best according to me. Its upto you which to choose.
