Can anyone tell me with 573 marks is it possible to get a govt seat in Kim's bangalore if I'm not from karnataka. And also will the fees be 77k or 7 lacs?
Hey Priyadarshini,
Congratulations on scoring a whopping 573 marks in NEET! If you're aspiring to study medicine in Karnataka, then KIMS Bangalore is a private institute, so you can't get admission there through 15% all India quota. You'll then have to opt for a management seat for which you'll have to shell out 7 lakhs per year.
However, you may have a good chance of admission for a government seat under 15% AIQ at Koppal institute of Medical sciences based on previous year's cutoff, where other govt medical colleges had slightly higher cutoffs, above 585 marks.
Also, assuming that you are from Odisha and have a domicile there, you should be able to get admission to the top government medical colleges under state quota which will also have lower fees of about 77k.
