Yes, ofcourse you can writer JEE Mains. AP open school society is even a Institute educating students. Once you meet the eligibility criteria of certain examination you want to give, you can apply for those examinations. As you are talking about jee mains, have a look at Eligiblity criteria:
- Must pass 12
- Particular percentage is not mentioned, so scoring 50% will be great
- Can only give 3 consecutive exams
- Subjects required will be based on the stream you are choosing
