can EEE students take IES exam

Yes. Anyone having BTech degree can appear for IES exam. But the available paper for exam are only four. They are- Civil engineering,  mechanical engineering,  Electrical engineering,  electronics and telecommunications engineering. So one who is appearing has to choose among this four only.  For example if a CSE guy want to appear for IES exam than he is allowed but he has to choose among thses four paper only.

Yes any steam student can give the IES exam, you just need to choose the exam paper stream like for which stream you have to give the IES paper, you can choose other streams as well apart from eee, this would help you to give the ies paper, but that would be very difficult so start preperaing from today.
