Hi Abhimanyu! You will be able to appear in JEE Main exam but will not be eligible for admissions into NITs, IIITs and CFTIs. For admission into these institutes, you need to have secured 75% in 12th standard qualifying exam (65% for SC/ST candidates) or be in the top 20 percentile in the 12th standard qualifying exam conducted by the respective boards. However, a number of private engineering institutes along with some state-level engineering institutes offer admissions through JEE Main marks. You can always opt for these institutes after clearing your JEE Main examination. Hope this helps you! All the best.
