can I change my branch after btech in m tech??

Dear candidate yes you can do so but not in etirely different branch, it must be relevant with your B.Tech one.

- If you are B.Tech (Civil) then you can opt for Water Resources Engineering, Town and Regional Planning (M.Plan), Architectural Engineering, Traffic and Transportation Planning, Off-shore Structure, Transportation Engineering, Geological Engineering, Highway and Transportation Engineering, Environmental Engineering Metro/Railway Engineering etc.
- If you are a B.Tech (Mechanical) then you can opt for Manufacturing Engineering, CAD-CAM, Thermal Engineering, Machine Design Propulsion Engineering, Energy Systems Engineering, Heat Power Engineering, Machine Tool Engineering, even Mining Engineering etc.
- If you are B.Tech (Electrical/EEE) then you can opt for Power Engineering, Power System Engineering, Engineering Control System Engineering, and I think Computer also etc.
- If you are B.Tech (CS) then you can opt for CS Engineering itself, IT Engineering, Robotics Engineering, VLSI Design, Embedded System, etc.
- If you are B.Tech (ECE) then you can opt for Electronics Product Design and Technology, Microwave and Radar Engineering, Digital Systems, Control and Systems Engineering Microelectronics, VLSI Design Optical Communication, Applied Electronics, Communication System, Embedded System, etc.
- If you are B.Tech (Chemical) then you can opt forChemical Plant Design, Petrochemical Engineering, Polymer Technology, Fertiliser Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, Computer Aided Process Plant Design, Petroleum Engineering etc.
