Can I do a BAMS course simultaneously with a D.pharm course(distance) ?
As per UGC Secretary Rajnish Jain , " A student will be allowed to pursue two degrees simultaneously but for both the degrees the mode of delivery will be different. A student pursuing a regular degree can pursue a second degree only via ODL (Online Distance Learning) or online mode. " (Source - Times of India, Date - May 22, 2020).
Hence the above statement makes you eligible to do BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurveda, Medicine and Surgery) and D. Pharma (distance) simultaneously. However, from a practical point of view, it would be difficult and hectic to do both these courses together. However, if you have confidence in you that you can manage, then you can opt for both these courses.
