can i do btech engeneering and then MSc

Yeah! if you have done BTech in Engineering then also you can do MSc in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics through IIT JAM examination and other entrances that hold the engineering students to be eligible for MSc. Apart from this you can also go for research in top research institutes such as TIFR, HRI, IISc etc even if you are a engineering for that you need to qualify the examination named TIFR GS, JEST, GATE (subject paper would be the one in which you are wiling to do a MSc) etc. So if you are interested to go for MSc then you can obviously do it but you need to put some efforts to go for it.

If you are taking B.Tech as a field of study which is a professional undergraduate engineering degree programme awarded to candidates after they complete four years of study in the field.

For admissions, the most common BTech entrance examinations are JEE Main and JEE Advanced. Along with these national level entrance examinations, there are many state and private level entrance examinations that the students can attempt for admissions. The basic eligibility criteria for BTech is class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. However, there are additional criteria in every entrance exam and institute.

But M.Sc is a two-year duration postgraduate degree course offered by universities and colleges in various specialised Science fields such as Physics, Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Botany, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Environmental Sciences, Food Sciences, Life Sciences, and so on.

M.Sc is basically a branch of pure science and B.Tech is a technological study of science.

So if you are instrested in M.Sc. it's better to pursue B.Sc. which is of three years.

Or you can pursue M.Tech. after B.Tech for further knowledge in that field.
