can i do btech in mechanical branch after bsc in cv raman college
Hello Buddy! Hope you're doing good.
Yes It is possible to join B. Tech course after completing B.Sc through the lateral entry scheme which is offered by most of the Engineering collges in India. The lateral entry is only given to candidates who have either completed diploma in Engineering or B.Sc course.
But tech course in mechanical engineer after b.sc., there's no point in doing B.Tech. after Bsc. Either you go for Msc or you take up Btech first and then go for Mtech in Mechanical engineering. Hope this will help you.
ALL THE BEST! WORK HARD !!

Hello Tansen,
The general eligibility criteria for admission to B.Tech courses is candidate must have passed 10+2 exam (with preferably minimum 60% marks in PCM).
Since you want to get admission on the basis of BSc, you are not eligble for admission under normal scheme. Instead you have to apply for lateral entry (direct entry into 2nd year or 3rd semester). But please note not all institutions have provisions of lateral entry.
Furthermore, diploma candidates are generally preferred over graduates.
Best.
