Yes, you can study Yoga through distance/online learning, but there is an important distinction in that case. Full online Yoga degree/PG diploma programmes are not permitted by UGC. Yoga programmes can be offered through ODL (distance mode), where practical classes may need to be completed at a study centre. Short Yoga certificate courses of up to 3 months can be offered online/ODL.

So, if you specifically want a Diploma in Yoga, please check whether it is an UGC-recognised ODL programme for the particular academic session before paying the fee.
