It depends on the college from which you have completed your graduation. First, visit the official website link of your college, check out the admission procedure for M.Tech. If it says that admission is done by GATE exam then indeed you need to write the exam. Or you can visit the admin block of your college to gather information about the admission. To get admission in MTech in Osmania University you need to write GATE or PGCET or through sponsorship.
