Can i fill up form for nit too if i selected for iit msc chemistry

Hello aspirant,
It is possible, that some students might not even take those seats and hence they will look forward to you guys in order to fill them up. That happens or not, nobody knows in advance. For example, my classmate secured an AIR 1 in GATE for Physics this year 2015. But he left for UPSC preparation. Similarly many other classmates of mine secured double digit rank in GATE this year but only two of them are actually doing MTech. And that's when those qualifiers become important.
