can i get a government college in Maharashtra for 400 marks in S.C category or should i try to improve my marks yet ??!
If this is regarding NEET, Maharashtra MBBS seats are filled through 15% All India Counselling and 85% State Counselling. The State Quota seats are filled divided into 70% Regional quota and 30% State Quota. The 70% Regional quota seats are reserved for Candidates belonging to Vidarbha, Marathwada and Rest of Maharashtra. And the Constitutional quota of Maharashtra is for Candidates belonging to SC, ST, Vimukta Jati/Denotified Tribes, NT-A,B,C,D and OBC. In 2019, under State Quota, 70% Regional seats, 402 marks secured a seat in ACPM Medical College, Dhule under SC Category. That was the cut off. Under 30% State Seats, 450 marks secured a seat in Ashwini Rural Medical College under SC Category. These have been the cut offs. Now cut offs change every year. Cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. So you will need atleast 500 for a seat in a GMC in Maharashtra under SC Category.
