Hello Dear Student,
With a JEE Advanced rank of 3,700 and an aggregate of 81.8% in CBSE Class 12, you satisfy the academic eligibility requirements for admission to IITs through JoSAA counselling.
• The minimum Class 12 eligibility requirement for General and OBC-NCL candidates is typically 75% aggregate marks or an equivalent criterion as specified for the admission year.
• Since your aggregate score is 81.8%, you comfortably meet this requirement.
• If Mathematics was taken as an additional subject in CBSE and you have successfully passed it, it is generally considered valid for admission purposes, provided you meet the subject requirements prescribed by the IITs and JoSAA.
• A JEE Advanced rank of 3,700 is competitive and can provide access to a variety of branches across several IITs, although the exact institute and branch will depend on category, seat availability, and counselling preferences.
• During JoSAA counselling, candidates are primarily verified based on their JEE Advanced qualification, Class 12 eligibility, category certificates (if applicable), and other required documents.
Overall, based on the information provided, your Class 12 percentage should not create any issue during the admission process, and you are eligible to participate in JoSAA counselling for IIT admissions.
