Official UP CNET admissions strictly require a qualified entrance exam score and mandatory participation in the centralized counselling process; direct or management quota admissions are explicitly barred in government colleges. However, many private nursing colleges and deemed universities allow direct management quota admission based on 10+2 marks, though fees are higher.
