Can I get an admission in CBIT with just my board percentage ?

no. 70% of seats will be filled up by EAMCET examination conducted by government of telengana. and remaining 30% of seats shall be filled on the basis of rank obtained in JEE mains, EAMCET and IPE or equivalent. For getting under this category, the student must secure not less than 50% in aggregate or in group subjects (Maths, Physics and Chemistry) in the 10+2 qualifying examination.

The Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology (CBIT) offers B.Tech courses in four different specializations - Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Civil Engineering. Total duration of all the B.Tech courses are four years.

The college accepts 120 students every year for each of the courses, except Civil Engineering for which it accepts 160 students every year, making it to a total strength of 520 seats.

For admission to the B.Tech courses in CBIT, the candidate needs to apply for a common entrance test (EAMCET) conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad (JNTUH) . Application for the AP EAMCET starts in February every year while the exam is conducted in April.
