can I get any nit with 86 percentile and I am belongs to general category

There is very low chances of getting a Nit and you cannot get well ranked NIT based on your percentile

But to get good NIT candidate should have 97 and above percentile

see as per the your percentile score your general rank would be around 121661. however at this rank it would be quite difficult to secure a seat in top nits. however you have chances in nit manipur in civil, electrical, mechanical engineering. however nits has 85% seats reserve for the domicile candidates. cutoff scores changes every year and it depends on certain factors like number of applicants, questions difficulty level, seat matrix etc.
