can i get nit patna at 90%tile (obc ncl+ home state)?

Like all NITs, admission to UG courses is done through JEE Main and JoSAA counselling. The intake of students at the institute is 775 for UG, 351 for PG and 90 for PhD programmes based on the national level competitive examination.In order to secure admission in NITs through JEE Main, the good score for the same can be around 85-95 percentile.

It is very difficult to predict the exact rank as the rank depends on total number of candidates appeared, top score, tie breakers, normalized marks. The last session for JEE Main February 2021 is tomorrow, so we don't know the total number of candidates appeared for JEE Main session. You can expect the overall rank to be around 13000 and rank based on category around 4000. This is just a prediction the actual rank may change depending on the above mentioned factors. In 2020 the cut off in round 6 was as follows for NIT, Patna for OBC-NCL home state candidate

• Civil Engineering: 12809
• Computer Science Engineering: 4959
• Electrical Engineering : 9107
• Electronics and Communication Engineering: 6846
• Mechanical Engineering: 10959

Considering the cut off you may have chances of getting seat in Civil, CSE, EE, ECE and Mechanical in NIT, Patna. But cut off is subjected to change, it may increase or decrease depending on number of candidates qualified, difficulty level of exam and number of seats available etc.
