Can I get nit seat with a rank of 54000 in open category

Hello Vamsi,
It is difficult to get admission into top tier NIT and IIIT colleges with a rank of 54000. You can get into low tier NIT such as NIT Hamirpur, NIT Srinagar and others with lower branches. I suggest taking a drop this year or wrote other state run competitive exams to secure a good seat in the best engineering colleges.

You will not get NIT with this rank.
As per your rank and previous year cutoff, the colleges you get are:-
Mizoram university
Assam university
IIIT Pune(ECE,CSE,IT branch)
It is difficult to get NIT Calicut with this rank.
