Basically, not only studying and graduating from a good/reputed private college is important, there are several other factors involved too. You need to have a good and deep understanding of your subject and domain. Your scores in B.Tech also matter. But finally, it matters on how to perform in the interview for job or during the placements (if the college has). So prepare well in your subject and for the interview.
