Yes, you can definately sign your signature other than the board examinations, but remember that signature because you will be needed to sign same on the attendance sheet at the time of the JEE examination.
The sign in the Application form can be any sign .which can be re-written resingned and remembeble to you again .
The sign can be as your wish buy you should never forgot the sign again
