Digital marketing is one of the good subject that every students who aspire to take mba should learn. Some colleges have digital marketing as a subject but if you can learn it before hand it would help while doing mba as well as it helps you in interview process as well.

You can do whenever you want it's upto on your sole decision after cat or before it won't hamper your career anyways since if your doing before Cat you can tell interviewers your simultaneously doing digital marketing course and will be certified in few months that would be beneficial and give you edge over others .
And upgrad is best place to do that course.
If you are preparing for CAT we recommend not to ficus in any other subjects as this shall require lot of practice.
You can take any degree post your CAT.
Going for MBA in Digital marketing can be in egood option which satisfies both CAT and Degree course.
