Dear student,
In jee mains the maximum number of attempts allowed are three. You first attempt is counted as over in the year that you have passed your class 12th. After that you can maximum find into two attempts in next consecutive years.
And there is no age limit in jee mains. But if your one attempt is missed after class 12th ot in class 12th then your number of attempts will get decreased and that attempt will be over for you.

After passing your 12th standard you will be eligible to write the exam

Yes, you can appear for JEE main exam 2021, as there is no age limit to appear in JEE exam, the minimum eligibility criteria required to appear for exam is that the candidate must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as Mandatory subjects.
