Can other state(OS) candidates get seat in mcaer application
Maharashtra Council of Agricultural Education and Research, also known as MCAER, had released the MCAER 2019 result and the merit list for the entrance exam on March 8, 2019. The university had, previously, announced the list of candidates who were eligible and non-eligible to appear for MCAER PG CET.
The eligibility criteria for B.Sc is as follows :
- XII Std. (Science) passed in 10+2 pattern from Maharashtra State Board of Higher Secondary Education or an equivalent Examination, with PCB or PCMB or PCM or Inter (Agriculture) and passed with English
- Those who have not offered Biology or Mathematics shall have to complete deficiency courses as prescribed by respective University. Common Entrance Examination i.e. MHT-CET/JEE/NEET/AIEEA-UG organized by competent authority during the year 2018-19 in PCB or PCM subject.
For M. Sc programmes :
- B.Sc.(Agri.) / B.B.A.(Agriculture) / B.Sc.(ABM) / B.Sc.(BBM) / B.Sc.(Agri. BioTech.) / B.Tech. (Agril.Engg.) / B.Sc.(Horti.) / B.Sc.(Forestry) / B.Tech. (Food Tech.)/ B.Sc.(Hons.) Home Science (B.Sc.(Hons.) Home Science candidates are eligible for Agricultural Extension degree or equivalent degree with four years duration of agriculture related Universities and having the Common Entrance Test in Agriculture faculty conducted by MAUEB, Pune for the year 2018-19 .
