Hello aspirant,
Its depends on you , if you are going for research then instead of doing M.tech you should go for integrated Ph.D .
After M.tech you will not get the teaching job easily in government sector what they want from you is Doctorate degree which is necessary and Net exam should be compulsory for Assistant Professor .
If you are doing M.tech from IITs then it is not mandatory you would get good job because when company come to IITs they prefer B.tech instead of M.tech by the way you will get the job easily in IITs if your academics is good as most people says.
