Hello there,
After successful completion of a BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) , you can opt for an MD ( Doctor of Medicine ) Ayurveda with specialisation in Prasuti Tantra . It is related to gynaecology .
You may also read a career as a Doctor .

Hello,
As you want to ask that can you become a gynecologist after BAMS. Let me tell you that no you can't..!!
For gynecologist you have to complete MD in gynecology after completing BAMS.
That means you have to complete PG after BAMS .
For that you have to break the Barrier .
Barrier....?????
That means....
PG common entrance exam.
OR
BAMS is ayurvedic degree & for Gynecologist minimum degree requirement is MBBS.

Either you can o mbbs and tgen go for Gynecologist.. Or you can go for pg after clearing the entrance exams and then go for Gynecologist...
The years depends on the pg course which you choose to do!!
Ayurveda have also MD(ayu) degree in Ayurved Gynecology and obs.
You can become A Gynaecologist and obstetric surgeon in Ayurved after completing B.A.M.S. and cracking Ayush PG Entrance after getting seat in M.S.( Striroga &Prasooti tantra). It is not mandatory to do Only M.B.B.S. only for becoming a good surgeon in Ayurved.
Then what is the difference between Mbbs gynecology and bams gynaecologist, I mean after completing MD in gynecology can I open my clinic and can take patients of deliveries and if I take then can I do caesarian delivery???)please help me K Michelle too confused...... 🙏
