Yes, you can. However since BDS is a dental degree there are certain limitations. For instance, for the reason I have mentioned, you can only diagnose dental or related to oral region problems, not any other problems.

The diseases you can diagnose are:

Diabetes .
Leukemia.
Oral cancer .
Pancreatic cancer.
Heart disease.
Kidney disease.
