can we do btech after taking bio in 11

yes you may pursue BTech even though you have taken up Biology in your 11th standard. You are required to have subjects such as Physics, Chemistry as well as Mathematics in your 11th standard. If you have these subjects you can purse BTech as these are one of the requirements for pursuing the course.

The eligibility criteria is that you must be having PCB (physics, Chemistry, Biology ) combination. So, yes if you qualify that you can do B. Tech there. But also keep it in mind that you will have to study Mathematics in some of your semesters

you can do B tech but in branches like biotechnology only, if you are a Biology student and you don't have maths. VIT offers biotechnology but if you want to get admission in NIT or IIT (biotechnology) through  jee mains and  it is compulsory to have studied mathematics in 10 + 2 to be eligible for JEE Mains. So, you cannot get admission in any Engineering College even for Biotechnology which provides admission through only JEE mains as to be eligible for JEE main it is mandatory to have  studied maths.
