Hello Kalyan

You need to specify which scholarship you are talking about or which /nit you want to know about specifically. There are a number of scholarships available like SC/ST scholarships, GATE Scholarships , post matric scholarship etc. According to the sum you have mentioned I guess you are taking about GATE. It is an exam you can give after BTech for Admission in MTech. If you qualify that exam you will get 12400 per month as stipend. More than that the MTech stream in which you have take admission must be approved by AICTE.
