If you want to qualify JEE-Advance than you have to appear for JEE-Main firstly and after qualifying it you will be allowed to appear in the JEE-Advance in the same year.
You cannot appear in JEE-Main this year and than in next year for JEE-Advance. You have to appear for both in the same year if you want to attempt JEE-Advance.

No you can not do that. You will need to write joint entrance examination (JEE) main again in the year 2021 to be eligible to write Joint entrance examination(JEE) Advanced. The Joint entrance examination (JEE) main 2020 score cannot be used to write Joint entrance examination(JEE) Advanced 2021. Please click the below link to know more.
