Can you give me the annual fees for MDS in the various private dental colleges in NCR and please tell which ones are better than others..

Please note that there are no private colleges in the NCR region which offer MDS courses.

As you may know, MDS admissions in India take place primarily through NEET MDS or AIIMS MDS entrance examinations.

The colleges in the Delhi NCR region which offer MDS course admissions through these exams are:

Through NEET MDS

• Lady Hardinge Medical College (LHMC) – Women only

• Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Sciences (MAIDS)

• University College of Medical Sciences (UCMS)

Through AIIMS MDS

• All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) New Delhi

(* The re is also the Army Hospital in Delhi Cantonment which offers MDS admissions but only for Army Medical College students)

LHMC, MAIDS and UCMS are all Government colleges affiliated with the Faculty of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, and offer a total of 22 seats under various MDS specializations.

AIIMS is an Institution of National Importance offering 12 seats in various MDS specializations.

Fees

• As per the available information, the fee charged for LHMC, MAIDS and UCMS is approximately Rs. 15,600 per annum for the three year long MDS course.

• AIIMS New Delhi charges a total course fee of Rs. 2000 approximately for the MDS course .

Being Government institutes, each of the above colleges is well-respected and in huge demand. MAIDS can be considered to be the best among the three Delhi University colleges, while AIIMS is generally considered to be one of the country’s best colleges. Getting admission to MDS courses in either of these will be a great achievement.

Apart from the above, no other colleges in the Delhi NCR regions offer MDS admissions. If you are asking particularly about colleges in Haryana or Uttar Pradesh, then please let me know.
