Here is the top six IIT institute which provides excellent placement:
1. IIT-Madras: highest placement package nearly Rs.1cr; 70% of students placed by this institute.
2. IIT Bombay: this institute made the highest offer of Rs.1.39 cr; overall 60% of students placed by this institute.
3. IIT Kharagpur: this institute made the highest offer of Rs.1cr; approx 1839 students participated in this offer.
4. IIT Dehli: IIT-D's highest offer of Rs. 1.4cr, too, this institute received 905 job offers.
5. IIT Kanpur: recorded good placement percentage than others, about 77% of students placed by this institute.
6. IIT Roorkee: students also offered by this institute Rs. 1.39cr, this institute help to provides the jobs to 822 students.

Generally, Credit goes to IIT Bombay for Highest package but there are occasions where other IITs Toped Sometime Kanpur, Delhi etc. highest number of offers were made by Goldman Sachs Qualcomm, IBM, Microsoft, BCG, Cairn, Mckinsey Knowledge Centre and Tata Steel. Highest package of Rs. 1.39 Crore was offered by Microsoft. Second highest package of Rs. 99.87 Lakhs per annum was offered by Uber. But Sometimes It is seen that Other IITs package goes Higher.
In the Year 2015 BHU student Got a package of more than 2 crores, 1.9 crores for IIT Delhi students so overall these trends changes. Highest is almost more than the crore in any IITs be it Indore or Bombay.
