Xavier Institute of management and research basically intakes the students on the basis of various exams such as CAT/MAT/XAT/ATMA/MH-CET. The counselling is done through the CAP process. The application procedure is done online. The number of seats reserved for various categories are as follows :
1. Roman Catholic minority - 31 seats
2. Management quota - 18 seats
3. Through CAP counselling - 12 seats
4. J&K candidates - 1 seat
Scholarship programmes are also conducted as per the initiatives directed by the Government of Maharashtra.
DTE stands for Department of Technical Education. It creates all the initiatives for the colleges in the state on various issues such as scholarship fee waiving, etc.
