Agriculture students have vast career related opportunities in both private and government sector.

Even if you choose higher studies , better will be career options.

The basic eligibility criteria for pursuing B.Sc in Agriculture is that the candidate should have passed 10+2 examination from a recognized institution with minimum 50% marks or equivalent. Subjects required are Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Biology ( Science subjects ).

Agricultural Science is a broad-based course that deals with production of food and horticultural crops, rearing of farm animals, agricultural extension, rural economy and rural development, working with farmers, environmental health, etc.

There is a lot of scope after B.sc Agriculture. You can apply in Gov. & private companies as well.If you are interested then you can go for further studies like MSC,through JRF exam and PhD, prepare to apply NET.
