Basically, Gate score is not completely considerable for the jobs in MNCs but yes, this can give you an add on. As getting job there is based on your academics and how you perform in the interview.

Also, if you talk about Govt jobs then after clearing Gate you can try for PSUs as clearing GATE is also an eligibility clause for the award of Junior Research Fellowship in CSIR Laboratories.
