hi priyanka, i have been where you are , so lemme tell you this, there are plenty of books out there in market and many are good and it all comes down to individual preference, ofcourse just NCERT text book ALONE IS NOT SUFFICIENT for chemistry. so read your concepts well, i used my coaching institute material, it was very halpful and i also solved my questions from the question bank that they gave which is quite enough, but if you wish to solve more, use previous years paper and i used op tandon and jd lee as reference books, always dont forget to analyse, rectify and learn from your mistakes, ping me if you have any more queries, good luck

Hey priyanka
Ya surely you can give NEET UG and AIIMS MBBS exam in 2018.
In chemistry, you can have difficulty in understanding the concepts from NCERT, therefore you can take help of lecture's, notes and refreshers.
Secondly, you need practice questions based on NEET pattern I.e. mcq which are not available in NCERT.
Therefore, you shall take the help of refreshers and practice books to understand the concepts and practice lot many questions.

Yes chemistry ncert is sufficient for neet but u need to study it carefully .
For physical it would be better if u practice questions from any other book specially for chapter equilibrium .
And for organic u must practice questions it's mandatory if u want to score good .

U can get a selection even if u don't practice questions and just read ncert but it would be better if u practice questions too.

For inorganic there is no need to pick anything else beside ncert

Hello Priyanka,

Most important for NEET/AIIMS is your NCERT books as these books include basic principles and concepts and provide accurate information.

BUT KEEP IN MIND YOU HAVE TO CLEAR ENTRANCE YOU ARE NOT DOING PhD so don't go by all books mentioned here and there

KEEP NCERT + ONE REFERNCE BOOK + MAXIMUM MCQS PRACTICE = Medical SEAT Apart from this, you can add upon it by following books

Dinesh Chemistry Inorganic

Physical Chemistry by O P Tandon

Objective NCERT at your fingertips Chemistry by MTG
