Choosing Moderate NIT with low branch is better than choosing low IIT with low branch it is because if college has good reputation then the facilities and teaching will be good. So, though you choose low branch you can get good lecturers and can score well in the exams if you concentrate well. Chances of getting placements is good for Moderate NITs than low IITs.
