Basically, to become a professor in commerce you should have done post graduation in commerce (M.com) with at least 55% and also this after Bachelors in commerce (B.com). Many private universities show interest to recruit students with good NET qualification. Also, you have to clear and get good grade in NET examination conducted by UGC. It is advisable to do Phd in reputed universities and attending conferences, workshops will also help you succeed.
