start preparing for IELTS/TOEFL for english proficiency.
prepare for GRE/GMAT for your competency.must get a score about 700 to get a top college.
try to get a cgpa abpve 8.0 to get a top university.
focus on your profile building- do internships, do social work, write research papers, do some certificate courses from coursera/edx
focus on peronality development for personal interviews.
be ready with your documents- collect your letter of recommendation
be ready with all this a year prior to the year of copletion of your btech.
think about studying in MS in engineering at germany, its free of cost and valuable.
