If your JEE Main CRL rank is 31,306 and your OBC-NCL rank is 8,770 , then getting Computer Science Engineering (CSE) in top NITs is unlikely, as OBC-NCL CSE cutoffs at most NITs and IIITs close much earlier.

However, you can still target:

• Newer IIITs for CSE or CSE specializations.
• Lower-demand NITs for branches like ECE, EEE, Mechanical, Civil, or Production.
• GFTIs through JoSAA/CSAB.
• CSE-related branches such as AI, Data Science, or Information Technology at some institutes depending on round-wise cutoffs.

With an OBC-NCL rank of 8,770 , your category rank will be considered for OBC seats during JoSAA counselling.
