HERE IS THE LIST OF SUBJECTS

1st Year :

In first year , all the branches have to study same subjects.

All the listed subjects will be divided into two semesters depending on your college.

1. Engineering Physics
2. Engineering Chemistry
3. Engineering Mathematics-1
4. Engineering Mathematics-2
5. Engineering Drawing
6. Workshop Practice
7. Soft Skills
8. Programming in C
9. Programming in C++ ( or C language will be continued depending on your college.)
10. Basics of Electrical Engineering
11. Basics of Electronics Engineering
12. Basics of Mechanical Engineering
13. Professional Communication

2nd Year:

From 2nd year core subjects will be taught.

Now it totally depends on your college which are being taught in year and semester so it may vary from college to college.

1. Theory of Computation
2. Data Structures (This is one of the main subjects of CSE )
3. Computer Networks
4. Computer based numerical and Statistical Techniques
5. Discrete Mathematics
6. Linux OS
7. Microprocessors ( I hated this Subject :P)
8. Database Management
9. Programming with Java
10. Web Technology
11. Digital System Design
12. Computer Organization

We were taught Python in Value Added Training.

3rd Year:

1. Probability and Random Variables
2. Operating Systems
3. Algorithms:Design and Analysis
4. Principles of Management
5. Aptitude Building-1
6. Computer Graphics
7. Dot Net Technologies
8. Essentials of Software Engineering
9. Compiler Design
10. Engineering Economics
11. Security Access Management
12. Aptitude Building-2

Besides this , you will have project work and one Elective subject.

4th Year:

1. Distributed Computing
2. Advanced Computer Architecture
3. Cryptography and Network Security
4. Data Warehousing and Mining
5. Security Identity Management
6. Advanced RDBMS
7. Business Intelligence
8. Real Time Systems
9. Cyber Law and IPR
10. Application Security

Besides you have to choose two elective subjects one in each semester.

And you have to work on your project.
