Hi, yes you can apply for PhD in journalism after finishing your masters. But the only thing is you need to fulfil the requirements specified by the University you are applying. It could be the minimum percentage to be scored in masters for applying as some university asks for 55% minimum to be eligible to apply. Apart from this a strong research proposal you need to be worked which you can defend in the interview certainly forms the basis of selection in PhD. It also depends that university in which you want to apply holds any written examination or not because for M. Phil some holds. Also, if you qualify UGC NET then the chances of selection gets increased because in some university there are seats for NET qualifies students.
