National Eligibility Test is conducted by University Grants Commission (UGC). To start career as Lecturers or Assistant Professors in various Colleges, Universities and other Educational Institutions. UGC grants Junior Research Fellowship to the NET passed out candidates who are interested in research work in various Universities and Colleges who qualify are categorized in two sections.
NET -JRF and
NET-Lecturer

If you qualify for JRF (Junior Research Fellowship) then you would get Rs. 25,000 to 30,000. Some of the PSUs also hire UGC NET cleared candidate. You can check NET syllabus by the given below link.
